Important Notice

This website is an independent visitor guide to the sumo show at the Shibuya Sumo Club in Tokyo. Show times, prices and booking links come from GetYourGuide, where any booking is made. Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you book through one of them we may earn a commission, and the price you pay is the same. We help you decide whether the show suits you, but we do not sell any ticket or run any show ourselves. Each listing is sold by the show’s operator, whose name appears on the listing. This site is not the official site of the Shibuya Sumo Club and is not connected with Mediabound Inc., Traveling Japan or any other company or venue it describes.

By following a booking link you leave this site; the booking is made with GetYourGuide under its terms and the operator’s.

Bookings & Payment

  • Bookings are handled by GetYourGuide, and the show is run by its operator.
  • By completing a booking, you agree to GetYourGuide’s terms and the operator’s policies: GetYourGuide General Terms and Conditions.
  • Booking confirmations and vouchers come from GetYourGuide.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation terms are set by GetYourGuide and the operator and are shown on each listing before you pay.

To cancel or change a booking: contact GetYourGuide, using the details in your booking confirmation email.

Prices Shown on This Site

Prices, ratings and review counts on this site are copied from the listings, with the month they were checked next to them. Prices change by date. The price you pay is the one GetYourGuide shows at checkout. Prices quoted in yen on this site are the operator’s own published prices, with the month they were read; the operator sets and changes them.

Operator Responsibility

  • The show’s operator (not this website) is solely responsible for:

    • Running the show safely and as described
    • The venue, its staff, the MC and the wrestlers
    • Show times, the sumo challenge draw, and any cancellation or change of a show
    • Guest safety and insurance
    • Handling complaints or problems at the venue

  • When a show is cancelled or its time changes, what then happens to your booking is set out on the listing you booked.

Liability & Disclaimer

  • This website is a visitor guide that refers you to GetYourGuide. We are not liable for:

    • The quality or safety of the show, or the accuracy of listing descriptions
    • Personal injury, loss, or damage at the venue, including during the sumo challenge
    • Cancellations, delays, or changes made by the operator
    • Disputes between guests and the operator

  • Everyone attends at their own risk and must follow the venue’s rules and the instructions of its staff.

  • The operator’s own liability terms apply as stated in its booking conditions.
